Why does Horizon Alternative SAC do fundraising?
Last school year, the SAC fundraising supported Horizon Alternative totalling approximately $16,600 including:
| School Supplies/Equipment $4,900 |
| School Subsidies $5,300 |
| School Events/Trips $4,900 |
| Pets $1,500 – SAC helps to fund classroom supplies (books/resources, art supplies, musical equipment and sports jerseys). Larger equipment has included learning technology such as Chromebooks – SAC provides subsidies for families so that all students can attend trips – SAC also supports special opportunities such as Yoga Wellness, Coding, Self-defense, Blanket Exercise, Bike Hike, Rock Climbing, etc. – SAC also supports the pet committee and pet care costs |
